I neverleave home without it. Nice utility that takes snapshots of the entiresystem before and after installing new software or updates, andgenerates reports on what changed. Although an all-manual operation,it's a big step in keeping trial software from garbaging up yourdevice. Excellent and very comprehensive dictionarywith a nice interface and resident mode. The latter enables you to lookup words from many other programs and pops up a small window with thedefinition.
Very nicely executed. SlovoEd 7. The reader is updated to support WM 6. While I was updating the reader, I decided on a morecomprehensive dictionary. The interface and overall execution remainsexcellent. Installed to the MicroSD card. Small,clean and effective timer program.
Supports countdown and stopwatchfunctions, as well as displays the current time. The only full-powered office suite for PPC. We all know that Pocket Word is a joke. TextMakeris like having MS Word in your hand, no kidding. If there's somethingit won't do, I haven't found it yet. TM supports tables, graphics,headers, footers, spell checking, full font and paragraph formatting,and outlining. The office suite also has PlanMaker andPresentationMaker which are the substantial equivalents of Excel andPowerpoint, and allow creating and editing of those files in nativeformat.
The suite isn't cheap, but in this case you get more than youpay for. Attractive app to keep your passwords, bankinfo, credit card data, etc. Uses bit Blowfish encryption,has great flexibility in creating templates and customizing individualentries, and comes with a nice desktop component. Got tired of the hassle. It has nice hands-freeoperation as well. Works fine loaded on an SD card. Very nicely done and extremely easy to use. After literally going through theentire Today plug-in market, I settled on Pocket Plus as my Todayscreen integrator and system manager.
It uses a tab-based programlauncher that takes up almost no room on the Today screen, includessystem monitoring icons, fixes Windows' abomidable minimize rather thanclose problem, enhances Pocket Internet Explorer, provides a taskbarbattery indicator, and adds ZIP file support to File Explorer.
It now worksgreat on my X50v. Loaded as a custom tab under PocketBreeze. SpbWallet 2. Excellent andsecure password keeper. Although itcan and does Activesync, you really only need to copy the databasesback and forth. Very happy with this. SpriteBackup 6- Shareware from Sprite Software. After one unplanned hard reset andone firmware upgrade, I'm a true believer in this software.
It makesscheduled backups, backups based on battery level, self-extractingbackups, selective backups and restores, and also will backup to thedesktop--and does it all at high speed. It also comes with a smallcollection of helpful utilities to display your storage media status. This feature alone is worth the price ofadmission. If you have a PPC, you absolutely need this software foryour backup solution. Very comprehensive with excellentdefinitions. After considerable research, I've found this dictionary tobe the one to have if you can only have one.
Links to other Skyscapeproducts. My only complaint is that the index is split in two parts atL-M. This can be annoying when you start typing before realizing thatthe wrong index is active.
However, given that it has over ,terms and a huge data file, maybe that was the best compromise forperformance. In the end, the content quality won out. Currently inbeta, it runs a good number of Palm apps perfectly and quickly. Morecomplex applications like Star Pilot Advanced have recently added tothe compatibility list. Italso releases all its memory after exiting--very clean operation. Irisked early adoption based on StyleTap's promises, and I'm certainlyglad that I registered!
I have WM replacements for all these apps. Tabor'sCyclopedic Medical Dictionary,20th Edition - Geared to nursing and health administration, it contains some verygood and practical treatment information along with the definitions.
While not comprehensive enough to be my only medical dictionary, theexplanatory information was good enough to buy it as a supplementarysource of information.

A graphical task switcher for WM 6. Net Compact Framework I loaded 3. I'm justtesting it at this point, but it seems to work pretty well. The taskswitcher in WM 6. That's really my only complaint with it. TaskFascade 4 fixesthat. Looks andsounds outstanding. Supports about every music standard out there, evenAAC if you know where to look please don't ask.
Update: I had to getan updated version by Phenom from the xda-developers forum for the Tilt 2. Itdoes't work perfectly, but it does work. Nifty little utility that does exactly what it says. Good for coolpoints at office lunches. Excellent file manager and more forthe PPC at an unbeatable price.
Support ZIP files, two-window view, tree view, network drives,registry editing, ftp, etc. I'm been a huge fan of Christian's for manyyears, and his support is unbeatable--but you'll rarely need it! Simple utility to track down where thelargest files are on your PPC. Nice for housekeeping. Didn't need it with Sprite's Space Detector loaded. Nice Today plugin to monitor batterystatus and total uptime since last charge.
Other utilities do this, butthis one also can track what applications are running and produce areport of battery charge over time tied to app usage. Very handy. Sure miss it, though. VistaHide Battery Guage - Freeware by ins0mniaque. Puts a very nice, only 3-pixel wide battery bar at the top of thescreen. Very small, simple and effective. I wanted it because I want aclock on the task bar but also want to track the battery. Excellent utility that fixes theinfamous Widows Mobile alarm problems.
