Take the state-approved sales associate hour pre-license course and pass the exam. This course focuses on real estate laws, principles and practice, and real estate math. You can take the course online or in a classroom at a real estate school or at Realtor associations and boards statewide.

You may take the sales associate exam by affixing a copy of your current Florida Bar card to the exam application. The DBPR reviews all applications. The Pearson VUE company will notify you by email when your application has been approved generally takes 10 to 30 days.

Pearson VUE oversees the state exam process and offers the course in a variety of formats and locations. Be sure to run the system test before you sign in to register for an online proctored exam. Good luck! Candidates have the ability to schedule a retake after an exam review online themselves outside the 21 day exclusion time period.

Contact Pearson VUE immediately to correct the spelling of your name or update your personal information if you notice any errors. It is very important that this information is correct, as it will appear as it was entered on the documentation provided to you after you have completed the exam, as well as on any reports to your licensing agency.

To cancel or reschedule a test without any penalty it needs to be done two full calendar days before the test.
